Baume & Mercier Capeland Limited Edition – Exclusive for the US
Baume & Mercier dispatched another restricted release Capeland, only for the US and only accessible at Tourneau stores. Despite the fact that we haven’t distributed about the new Baume & Mercier Capeland, I should concede that I love the vibes of the new Capeland that was officially delivered in January of this year.
Originally dispatched with a dark or white dial, the upgraded US restrictive games a copper hued dial that looks especially attractive. This is a restricted release of only 250 pieces and they will be in chosen Tourneau stores as of October 2012. The Capeland ref. 10088 is a programmed flyback chronograph with a blue tachymeter and dark telemeter. It comes in a 44 mm enormous tempered steel case with a ravishing copper-shaded dial that is obvious through a domed sapphire gem with hostile to intelligent treatment. On the dial are the two chronograph registers and the date, situated somewhere in the range of 4 and 5 o’clock.
There has been some conversation on the web about this piece and whether the sticker price is supported for this watch, after our companions of Hodinkee distributed a survey of the new Capeland . While the ordinary models in tempered steel are accessible for around $ 7,5k the upgraded US selective is accessible for $7,900 USD. I’ll allowed everybody to make their own evaluation of the value/item, however under the steady gaze of you judge too quick it very well may be acceptable to compare it to other pieces with another flyback chronograph like the Dodane Type 23 that we looked into here .
Inside ticks a programmed chronograph with flyback work, that is solely delivered by La Joux-Perret for Baume & Mercier (La Joux-Perret type 8147-2 Flyback chronograph). Possibly not a genuine in-house development, but rather still a pleasant chronograph with a Flyback function. All I can say is that I simply love the looks and exquisite subtleties, similar to the perfect dial, decent chronograph pushers and delightful crown. Also, obviously the Flyback movement!
The La Joux-Perret Flyback Chronograph is noticeable through a sapphire crystal case back and tts case is cleaned and silk wrapped up. The Capeland comes on a black croc lash with a pin buckle.
